There is freedom in forgiveness. When we practise forgiveness we allow ourselves to let go of past words, thoughts and actions that were once hurtful. We allow ourselves to cut the ties from any anger, sadness and guilt we may feel from these past actions that we cannot change. The practice of forgiveness is important for your self love journey. There will be times when we fall back (we all do) and forgiveness will be your tool to help you come back faster. Rather than dwell, you can simply learn to forgive yourself.
