Tapas Yoga is dedicated to the practice of disciplined devotion. Tapas is the third Niyama. Niyamas are internal observations, practices to help you understand the way you think and feel about yourself, the world around you and the life you are living. This Yoga class is a perfect combination of longer, fire-y holds and blissful stretches. In the moment where you feel the discomfort creep in, dig deep, find the grit and hold for just a breath longer. You’ll go through Warrior 2, Warrior 1, High Lunge and Chair… once the fire is well and truly lit, head down to the Earth to cool it all down with some slow flow stretches. You are going to LOVE this class.
