ALIGNMENT NOTES +
- For the start of this class, we begin on the Earth. Focus on your breath and finding a posture that feels good for you. It’s not about pushing the body here, rather, finding a shape that feels healing and nourishing. Be sure to take the modifications if you feel tightness in your hamstrings.
- When setting up for your Cat/Cow stretches, ensure your wrists are directly underneath your shoulders and your knees are directly underneath your hips.

- MerryBody classes are not designed to suit the needs of pregnant or breastfeeding women. Please seek approval from your doctor before commencing any of our classes. You remain solely responsible for your safety and wellbeing when using our classes. If you do commence this class please ensure you make the following modifications:
- When lying on the Earth and we move into twisting the long leg across the body, skip this twist and simply hold a hamstring stretch.
- Skip thread the needle and either remain breathing through Cat/Cow or hold an open twist, with one arm reaching up toward the sky.
- When we head into low lunge, you may need to bring your hands to your hips, skip the bind.
- When we head into the last twist on the Earth, stay seated and simply take a cross-legged twist.
