During all lower ab movements, keep your ribs drawing down toward your hips, your belly drawing in and up, with a neutral spine. Feel your tailbone drop down toward the Earth to create that natural curve.
For booty lifts, try not to flare your ribs but to keep the abs switched on and your ribs dropping down.
