ALIGNMENT NOTES +
- When stepping through from down dog, focus on pressing the Earth away with your hands, puffing your back, drawing the knee as close to the chest as possible, then flexing the foot and stepping through.
BABY ON BOARD? +
- Once you’ve been given the go ahead from your medical practitioner to exercise, here are the modifications to keep in mind when pregnant. If anything ever feels too much or uncomfortable, please stop your MerryBody class.
- This class is great for you and bubba, you may find the step through a little difficult as your bubba grows, so be sure to take 1-3 steps rather than 1. If you can’t step through the centre, step to the outside of your hand instead.
- For forward folds and child’s pose, take your feet/knees a little wider to allow space for bubba.
